Food Prices have Increased

I noticed that the prices to CS and TS have gone up a few bucks...the prices on allears are not accurate

Can you tell me where this happened? TIA

Sorry this is kind of late, but this happened to me at The Marketplace at The Beach Club. At POP last year, it was cereal and milk for one credit. Luckily I found out the first day of our trip, so I was able to save the milk from DD lunch for her cereal in the morning.

The cost of certain ingredients have taken a sharp upwards turn - it's not surprising to see the cost of many items going up.

Oh, and the shrinking size is an old food industry trick - you make a smaller size and then don't increase the price (or by a minimal amount) - most people don't notice.

Think about coffee - you used to get a 1 lb package for $XX, then they changed the package size (smaller) but you were still only paying $XX. Many people never noticed the change.

Yes, and has anyone noticed that you can't buy a half gallon of ice cream anymore? Another industry trick that goes along with smaller portions is to put it in bigger packaging to make the consumer think they are actually getting more.

All food prices have increased, so this does not surprise me at all. I think that another poster was correct: It's all about making choices. We chose the QSDP for our upcoming trip -- it's much more economical. Where on earth can you get 2 CS meals - 2 snacks - and a refillable mug for $29.99 a day? You simply can't! Disney is still a great value. At our local Six Flags park we buy 3 hamburgers and 3 drinks for $36.00, a refillable mug for $13.99, and pay over $7.00 for a funnel cake.
