the food in the pictures looks wonderful and those fish and chips mmmm. but i am off now and won't be back, on a diet and this is making me sooo hungry and wanting fish and chips. also looked at the menu bob and i want it all.

Well, we have been for our lovely meal! We are full and happy!

We had:

Thai Beef Salad Starter (Roberts- I don't eat red meat normally as it makes me ill, but I had a little taste of this and it was FAB!):

Salmon Tempura with Ponzu Dressing (Mine, and absolutely FANTASTIC!):

Steak Burger with Mozzarella, Tomato Relish and French Fries:

Fish and Chips (Mine....... YUMMY!):

Clean plates all round!

Seriously, if you're ever in the area (The Ridley Arms is just off the A1, in Stannington, clearly signposted) I really recommend stopping off here!!

We've eaten out twice today!!

Once at Pizza Hut:

And then we went for dinner at the Ridley Arms again with my Mam and little brother....

Starters:

Carrot and Corriander Soup.

Chilli Beef Salad.

Salmon Tempura (Mine- Yum!)

Mains:

Haddock and Chips.

Lemon Sole with Shrimp Butter and New Potatoes (Mine- The shrimp butter was amazing!!)

Steak, Chips, Mushrooms, Tomatoes and Watercress.

Braised Aberdeen Angus with Horseradish Mash and summer cabbage....

Desserts:

Caramel Pecan Crunch.

Chocolate and Cherry Roulade (Mine and yummy!)

Sticky Toffee pudding with Butterscotch Sauce.

Chocolate Ice-cream.....
