Hi
Very excited... im going to Disney Paris next sunday, 3 night and 4 days with my wife and 2 small kids ( 3 and 2 ).
We have booked Bed and Breakfast, but have been advised to book the half board option.
has anyone done this and is it worth the cost? Does it make it easer with Kids?
does it just cover Dinner ?
Half board doesn't save you much, if any at all, money, over paying for your food at the end of your meal. Its restrictive, as it only covers one meal per night booked into an onsite hotel, you won't get a half board voucher for your 2-year old, and it doesn't cover counter service meals, only table service/buffet meals at certain restaurants in the resort. So for your party you'd get a total of 3 vouchers for you, 3 for your wife, and 3 for your 3-year old.
For a first time, honestly I think it would be easier for you not to have the half board options, have a look for menus/prices online for the restaurants at DLP, and work your food budget around that.
If you prefer a sit-down meal at the end of your park day/lunchtime, go for buffet service restaurants, as your 2-year old will go free in those (you'd have to pay if you wanted a separate meal for your 2-year old in table service restaurants).
It really depends on what your family like to eat, what kind of budget you're on etc etc. There are loads of options for restaurants, including McDonalds, in the resort.
I've probably confused you even more now, haven't I

?
