Are you coming a long distance? Typically meals are not served on shorter flights.
We used sky miles to upgrade to first class so we get breakfast going down & lunch coming back.
What route are you flying? Without that, its impossible to answer your question. Atlanta-Orlando won't have a meal, even in first class. Los Angeles-Orlando will have a choice between a cold breakfeast plate and a hot plate, usually egg-based. A typical lunch might be a choice between a sandwhich of sorts and a large salad with fish or chicken.

Don't expect much, then. Probably a turkey sandwhich or a chicken salad.
American Airlines is pretty much the only domestic carrier left that still has traditional first class food service.
I don't think that is true. I've flown both USAirways and Delta from Pittsburgh to the west coast in first class in the past year or two and they had hot food service. Those are both 5 hour flights (Delta would be connecting through Cincinnati or Atlanta). Delta was more classy than USAirways.

Yep, that's usually close to what we get for lunch on the Minneapolis to Orlando flightThis is typical Delta for similar length:
