Not to get too political...but extravagances like that are the reason so many countries absolutely despise the United States.

you can do a really nice disney wedding for *a lot* less than $70,000. ours was done for about $14,000, which was way less than we could have done it here in DC for.

Before you "trash" the brides...
One would you want to be judged on short TV clips.
Two, some of them are DISers. If you would want it said about you then go ahead. Otherwise, as my mother always said "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all"

(And no I am NOT a Disney bride, but it would be fun!)

For the poster who thinks that only America has extravgant weddings. Have you ever been to a Hindu ceremony in India. Three days of feasting!
