Food in the parks?

Hi
I'm just wondering which parks I might be able to get some food into?
I'm just talking about a roll or sandwich each, pack of crisps each or a large grab bag to share, and some fruit maybe.
Maybe a snack bar each too.
Is this going to be possible?
I know not for Sea World or Aquatica, but what about the 4 Disney Parks, and the 2 Universal Parks?
Thanks,
Karen

Totally re-writing my post as I thought you asked where you could buy these items..

we almost always take a packed lunch in with us... never had a problem. Enjoy

As far as I am aware you are allowed to do this what you're not allowed to do is try and take a coolbox in.

If those items will fit in your rucksack then there is no problem.

Obviously don't take glass bottles.

you can bring food inside WDW's parks

no glass container, no knives

no alcoholic beverage

sandwiches should be packed in transparent ziplock bags (do not wrap in aluminum foil, or the guard at bag check might need to unwrap them ... it tends to mess things up inside the backpack afterwards :) )

no straws of any kind if you go into Animal Kingdom.

you are allowed to bring a cooler as long as it's dimensions are less than : 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high

here's what the foodblog has to say about bringing food in

we usually take snacks into the Disney parks every time. We would tend to have a big breakfast and then all we need to keep us going until dinner in the evening are things like fruit (and raw peppers and carrots), and some sandwiches (usually take them in a plastic Tupperware type container.

We have been taking in a cool box each day to the parks and nobody's said anything about it.

We took a small cool bag into all parks when we didn't have ddp - busch, universal, seaworld and disney.

I found wraps worked well - I made them the night before and froze them - ham and cheese. I used them as a sort of freezer block at the bottom of the bag - don't take up much room and don't squash.

On top a put a few small bags of crisps or fruit etc.

I found they had a quick glance in at security and I had no problems. I did see a family turned away at seaworld but they had walmart carrier bags filled with massive sub rolls etc.

Just remember no straws in parks with animals eg on juice cartons.

To be fair when I said I had heard they didn't like cool boxes I was talking about the big ones on wheels that some people have tried to get in.

I like that little bag it is very cute.

The one year we stayed in a villa and took lunches (even into Seaworld) got loads of Capri Sun drinks and froze these and used them to keep everything cool and they were nicely defrosted but ice cold when we wanted a drink.

Really like the frozen drinks idea! Brilliant thanks
