That's all well and good if you have a kitchen. But what if you are staying at BWI...and doesn't Y/BC have some 'regular' rooms, not just DVC? Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking and only want something quick.
Yes

YC & BC certainly do have 'regular' rooms - they existed long before BCV's was even built. I was speaking strickly of the DVC's and in this case speaking of SSR which is only DVC (meaning not attatched to a regular WDW resort like VWL is attatched to WL,etc.) ~ OKW does not have a food court either and when I questioned the same thing years ago when we first bought into DVC,
what about for those of us who do not cook? the answer given me from my guide (sales rep) was that the home away from home's are really meant to kind of be just that ~ more of a HAFH/timeshare rather than more like a hotel even though they technically are. Basically I was told we could always still eat out and not have to cook (parks, other resorts or whatever) but that was why no food court

Now, I asked this yrs ago when we first bought and $$ was not nearly as much of a factor as it is now ~ now we actually do cook half the time but....that was their answer way back when. I do personnally feel that they've realized that many people who've bought into DVC just do not want to cook when on vacation though ~ but they also realize just as many do. Maybe that's why SSR being it's own DVC has been built and a food court has finally been included?!

I do agree though, Y&B definetly is lacking in choices for quick serve particularly for breakfast. Which is really a drawback if staying at YC or BC (the regualr hotel portion)

As for those who do stay DVC though, that's part of the beauty of having the kitchen or kitchenette. Many of us eat quick breakfasts in the room that you really don't have to cook ~ cereal, english muffins, bagels, etc.
Anyway, back to the original subject at hand
,as I mentioned earlier, I found there
is a food court in the newly built SSR so "hurray for us all" cooking or not
