I'll be visiting next week for the first time in two years and I'm assuming the individual purchase of coffee at the resort food courts is still the same?? If I do not have a refillable mug I can purchase a single serve cup correct? Are these cups still not linked into the soda machines which only allow so many refills during a specific period? If this is still the case, can I purchase 6 cups on the day I arrive and then fill 1 cup every morning at the drink stations? I'm trying to bypass any lines at the registers on the mornings of. Would this be allowed? (I don't want to lug a mug around everyday and just want to toss the cup when I'm done.)

Right. Im sure you can use the same cup at one sitting, like if you wanted to get 2 cups of coffee in a row at one breakfast, but you do have to get a fresh one at every meal.

When we bought a cup of coffee we were told that we could have three refills on the cup on the day we bought it. The same is true for the purchase of a cold beverage.

Are you staying in a moderate or deluxe? If so, there is free coffee in the room and you can get more from mousekeeping.

I very much dislike the coffee at Disney, but bring my own travel coffee maker and good espresso ground coffee (started doing that when we started enjoying the value resorts). I order disposable coffee cups, and bring my own Stevia. Much better to have my own in the room (or take it with us).

The coffee in the food courts was not chip reader last time, neither was the iced tea.

The coffee is on the "Honor System"(if a Guest is told only 3 refills they should honor that).

The number of Fountain Drinks refills is "enforced" by the chip in the cup.:)

Ok so l’ll ask them at the Mara at AKL if I can purchase the 6 cups all at once or maybe just bring my own pot to the room. I don’t care for those pod machines in the room. Thanks for all the advice.
