This may seem dumb - but can you take any food or drinks into the parks - I assume NO WAY - but I have to ask before we go & get it confiscated at the entrance

They say no, but we take snacks in. Like fruit snacks, cheese and crackers, granola bars, etc. Nothing detremental. We also take juice boxes and water bottles. We have been doing this for years and nothing has ever been confiscated.

You're not allowed to bring alcohol into the parks.

As far as food goes, if you have a small backpack with some snacks and juice boxes/cans of pop, nobody's going to stop you. Even a small (lunchbox-sized) cooler is probably ok. No large coolers are allowed.

I bring frozen bottled water in with me, cups filled with juice for my kids, and snacks for the kids. They look in the bags (or did in 2002), but didn't even comment. Not a problem!

My son's class was there for a week 3 years ago and we brought sandwiches in every day for the entire class with no problems.:Pinkbounc
