Food at the CSR

How is that food at the CSR. TS and CS.

We have only had breakfast at the Maya Grill (TS). It was a buffet if I remember correctly and was your standard buffet food. It was good.

We love the Pepper Market (CS). We have had great salads, sandwiches, pasta, etc. Be sure to get a "to go" ticket and take your food outside to one of the tables if you want to avoid the automatic 10% charge they add.

We had the opposite experience with pepper market....we had horrible service the whole 10 days we were there, food was cold and not very good. Many people love the pepper market, and quite honestly we loved the layout of the place, just not the food or service.

We found the staff at the Pepper Market to be rude and the food not worth the prices when we went for breakfast our first day at the resort. Our party of 3 was ignored while our "server" went directly to the party of 8 seated AFTER us and started getting their drinks. And I had to tip since it was included in our bill. On our last day, we went back for a quick use of our leftover CS credit for lunch, and was told that the only dessert that was included with the dining plan CS meal was dry old bakery things like a cookie, muffin, etc... The pie looked so good and I wanted it but I couldn't get it. I think that was the last straw. I will never go back to CSR again. Beautiful resort but I hated the Pepper Market!

I LOVE the pepper market! The fajitas are to die for! Just make sure to order them first, and then get the rest of your meal, then come back for them.
I've never gone at peak times though...we have eaten there twice upon arrival, so it was dead, and the service was great, not to mention the refills on soda make up for the "service charge" IMHO.

As I have posted numerous times; The prime rib at the Pepper Market is the best on Disney property! I have dinner there 4-5 times every trip and have yet to be disappointed.

:thumbsup2

DH really liked the prime rib at pepper market. DS loved the pizza. DD liked all the fresh fruit cups everyday and I really liked the fajitas. We all enjoyed the food at Pepper Market a lot. Maya grill was good but pepper market was great.
