There is also the Turf Club next to the AP they have other hot foods, equally as close to the main pool.

Just looking for a cup of coffee or a sandwich?
Do they serve food and drinks by pool for example.
One of the major complaints that DVC members, including many owners there, have about SSR is the lack of a good restaurant. Disney has said themselves they thought the DDD options would be fine but their feedback from members has told them they were wrong. SSR is a nice resort but it needs a few things to keep it up to par with other DVC resorts as it grows. IMO, these include a second large theme pool and a full service family restaurant of some type. There were a number of other opportunities that DVC had to really set SSR apart but decisions were made and those options have past.MickeyCrazed said:Am I the only one who thinks they should just expand the food court to be comparable to the one at POR and skip the Turf Club expansion? That would make more sense to me, rather than making another sit down restaraunt when the DTD ones are so close by.

After you place your order they give you a number and call out when it is ready. We were poolside on our last day and DH ordered 2 items, 1 order of chicken fingers and 1 flatbread pizza and we didn't see him for over 30 minutes! This was in the middle of the day - not a prime lunch or dinner time slot! We like to walk over to DTD to Wolfgang Puck Express or Earl of Sandwich at night for dinner!
