Food at seaworld??? Any ideas???

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good/nice place to eat lunch at Seaworld?

Las time I was there (Oct 2002) We had Turkey sandwiches at the Deli in the beer promotions area.

I will eat anything apart from seafood, DF is a bit more fussy but will make do if I really want to go somewhere.

Lots of places, but my favorite is Voyagers, where they have wood oven pizza. You get a tray, and push it along a rail going past windows that are filled with salads, pastas, fruit, deserts, and the pizza at the end. A slice is huge and comes with a mound of fries, enough to feed two people.
It's located next to the sky tower, and they serve beer.

My vote goes for the platters of BBQ beef, ribs, and chicken from Smokey Creek. We eat one meal there whenever we are at Sea world and sometimes just go there to meet our college kid who lives in Orlando for lunch. <g>

I love seafood but the food at Sharks wasn't very fresh, tasted ok but not worth the price, imo. Voyagers was really nice.

Hey, they have a BBQ place at Animal Kingdom.

We really like Mango Joe's. They have fajitas and wraps that are very fresh. Food was great and seating was outside.

Voyagers, Smokey Creek.... I like to have dessert from the Spice Mill, sit on the deck outside and watch the Mystify show in the evening.

I'm not sure about the Orlando or San Antonio locations for Sea World, but when I went there in San Diego, the one place we always had to go to was Shipwreck Reef Cafe. It has great food with lots of choices between entrees, deserts, and salads (a buffet-style type thing), and you get to watch people go by on the Shipwreck Rapids ride. Its lots of fun warning them about the waterfall, because they all think we're kidding, and then they go through it! Its also greatly themed, with the shipwreck sort of theme that has an aquarium made out of a washer and dryer, and marks telling how long they've been on. Everything is made out of "broken parts" from other ships.

Plus its really close to Shipwreck Rapids line, and that's always good seeing as it gets very crowded =)
