Oops, I guess I should be more clear, not the food at the conceirge lounges, but from the resort bar lounges, like Tambu, Mizners, Victoria Falls, etc.

Hmm I am interested. all the times I have been to wdw I have never ordered food only drinks at a lounge. I t might be nice to sit and have an app and drink. I am wondering at a place like Tambu would they serve O'Hana apps and so forth?

Oh sorry :lmao:

We had snacks at the Tambu Lounge at the Poly in March and they were great. DH had to get the wings, Kona wings, and I got the bread and dip plate with all different types of breads and crackers with sundried tomato dip, crab dip and a bean salsa style dip. Really good stuff. I know the menus say they do not serve food until 5 but we got this at 3pm.

Just and FYI the Tambu Lounge did not have many apps to choose from, just 3 or so but I cannot remember what the other one was.

We want to Drink Our Way Around the Monorail on our next trip. It would be great to know what snacks/apps are available in the lounges of the monorail resorts.

You can order many things off the menu from the hotel's signature dining restaurant. For example, I've seen guests at Mizner's Lounge order stuff from Citricos.

Dh and I plan to make a trip over to the Rix Lounge at CSR in september. I stayed there last month for conference and their lounge looked awesome with some good stuff on teh menu.

That's pretty much what I'm planning on doing, except instead of just the monorail lounges, hitting up a lot of them.

I'm going with a friend, and she's doesn't care about the TS restaurants, just drinking, so I'm making no reservations, :scared1: (very hard for me to not make any, but this shortly after my deluxe DDP trip, so I think I'll survive,) and we can just drink and eat appetizers at the lounges, where, luckily, my DDE discount will still be good.

DH and I have had appetizers at the bar at Citricos. They were excellent. Same appetizers they have in the restaurant.

Be aware though, that most of the signature restaurants do not open till around 5.

We also stopped in The Wave at the Contemporary for a drink. The menu there looked good and they are open all day.

Flatbreads at the Territory Lounge at the WL at great. They have one with BBQ pulled pork and cole slaw which is amazing. On a slow night, they will also get you the Portobella Soup from Artist Point!

We try to eat here once every trip.

I'll second Mrs. Disney Ron's recommendations...you can usually order the desserts also...and the wings at the Crew's Cup were very good.
