Hello all!

My friend and I have a week in Southern California from April 20-27. We want to do Disneyland/DCA for 3 days. Option 1 is April 21-23 (Thurs-Sat), Option 2 is April 24-26 (Sun-Tues).

Option 1 (Thurs-Sat):
Pros: Longer hours, blackout days for annual passholders (sorry guys), more performance times for shows, opportunity for late-night fun (we are a pair of night owls).
Cons: Weekend crowds and additional crowds for the Food and Wine Festival.

Option 2 (Sun-Tues):
Pros: Quieter on the weekdays
Cons: Shorter hours, fewer shows, possible pre-Dapper Day crowds (local hotel discounts for Dapper Day come into effect that Sunday, April 24th).

I would think that despite the upcoming Dapper Day, Option 2 may still be the best choice. We were initially going with Option 1 - we were planning to deal with the weekend crowds and enjoy the late nights. However, now that I know more about Food and Wine (and how excited people are for it), I feel like Option 1 might be way more crowded than we thought, possibly "cancelling out" the benefit of the longer hours.

Does one Option seem like the obvious choice? Am I underestimating/overestimating the effects of these two events on crowds? Thanks for your help, everyone!

PS - I see you can post polls, so I will add that on in case someone wants to weigh in quickly without creating a comment.
