I've read the food and wine festival can get quite crowded in the evening on weekends. How are Thursdays or Sundays?

We went on the last Sunday of F&W in 2012 and it was packed all afternoon/early evening. The weekend is always going to be more crowded. Thursdays should not be too bad.

Sundays are less crowded than Saturdays, we'll hit WS on a Sun. but not Sat. Monday through Thursday is the best time to go.

We were there Sunday Oct 4th and it was pretty busy. We stopped in to see the Starship concert at 5:30. We walked up at the last minute and found the last couple of seats in the back of the theater. Many of the booths had lines, some rather long.

We were there on Sunday the 4th, late afternoon into evening, longest we waited was 5 minutes in any line. Monday through Thursday will be better, we did not wait at all on Tues the 6th.

Friday night and all day Saturday are the ones to avoid,Sundays are crowded but nowhere as bad.I was there last Saturday and Monday and Saturday was right up there as far the most packed I've seen it,I didn't even get anything from the booths as they all looked like they were 30-45 minute waits minimum.Monday was 100x better even though you could see many people came in later in the day from other parks.

We were there this past Sunday until about 1:30 when we had to get back to Yacht Club to be picked up by ME to go home. :( It was fine. The lines at the food and wine booths were not bad at all at lunchtime. We did not wait more than 5 minutes at any booth. We were there a little bit on each of the past two Saturdays and it was insane- way more crowded than last year when were there on a Saturday. I don't know about Thursday, but we were there Monday and Wednesday of last week and both those day were fine. We did not encounter any long lines at the F&W booths during the week.

I was there 9/28-10/3, Friday night it was insance, wall to wall people. It started about 6:30, up until then while there were more lines than Thursday, it wasn't bad. I popped over on Saturday before I left, probably around noon to grab something to eat and an ice cream from France. While there were more people than during the week, I didn't wait in line for more than 3 min. for my food, there was a bigger line inside the ice cream place. I left around 1:30 and it still looked fine.

We typically arrive for our annual F&W trips on Sunday. We will generally make a dining reservation some where at Epcot for that evening and just scout out locations and talk about what we really want. Then on Monday we will start grazing. It can be night and day between weekends and weekdays.
