Food and Wine Festival

Does anyone know if Epcot has a soft opening for its Food and Wine Festival, and when it is this year if they do this? I'm going Sept. 18-27 and would love it if a soft opening is going on when will be there. Thanks!

No, they do not really do a soft opening for the event. It opens when it opens -- this year, that's Sept 30. You might see some of the booths or display areas being put up, but there won't be any food or wine samplings at them until the festival officially opens.

We were there last year and YES there was a "soft opening" the day before it officially opened. Whether or not they will do it again is a mystery.
