Food and Wine Fest. With Rick Springfield : )

:lovestruc I always said that the only thing that would make Disney perfect for me is if Rick Springfield would be there .

I just saw he is going to be there and it is just a couple of weeks after I will have been in WDW for the Halloween Party .

My Dh is on the phone trying to book a room for us LOL , I am so excited I had to share with my fellow DIS Board Rick Springfield lovers....

This is almost as good as winning the lottery

We saw him last year at Busch Gardens in VIrginia. Had no idea he was performing until we got on the shuttle. He sounded great!

Plans changed. I'm going the 10th. Like I said,I'll be the woman in the camp chair. Stop by and say hello!!!

Do you know he's 61? :3dglasses I know times flies but really. :lmao: When I heard someone say that last week I had an out of body moment. I think I even checked the volume control on the TV. How is this possible? :rotfl2:

He looks 35-45 - has he done something? :confused3

Yes he is, and can I tell you how fine he still looks in tight skinny black jeans? I know this from personal experience at his book signing a couple of week ago :cloud9:!

I would kill to be able to see him at F&W (which we missed completely this year for the first time in ages). But alas, my pass expired 3 weeks ago, and I cannot swing airfare from MN...:sad1:

Have a great time! We'll miss you by a week, and we'd rather see Rick than Jon Secada. Not that he's awful or anything but I would love to see Rick. However, I must say, Sugar Ray was the BEST!!!!

it was GREAT all 6 shows . I ve lots of pictures to post

I bitterly resent you for getting my hopes up with your deceptive title, but failing to post a picture of Rick. :headache:

Lucky you! I saw Rick Springfield when I was in 8th grade...I believe it was the Spring of 1983! It was my first concert EVER...I went with my girlfriends. My parents dropped us off at the arena in our big a** station wagon! :lmao:

Went 11/10. I had no problems bringing in my camp chair. The security guards at International Gateway didn't even pat it down. No cast member walking by in the line made any comments to me about my chair at all.
