Awesome info on this thread. I never knew about the debit bracelet. What a great idea that is. I'm gonna have to get one of those for sure.

We were there today. Most of the stands smell really good when you walked by.

We tried Puerto Rico, Poland, some of Italy, and Morocco.

Morocco was by far the best - the Kefta in pita was delicious & the baklava (my fave) was doubly delicious.

Poland was a bit of a disappointment. Puerto Rico I was upset because I cook better than what they served. For Italy I only tried the chocolate canoli (yummy!) but the ravioli looks awesome. I told DF we have to go back to try that.

We'll be going back in a few days to check out the rest of the stuff/concerts.

Wow sounds great so far, what is Kefta in a pita? Leaving for the Fest in 3 weeks today :hippie::cool1::hippie:

I'm looking forward to:

Canada - cheese selection, lobster & scallop fisherman's pie & the chocolate lava cake with bailey ganache (friends always knew where to find me last year)

I like that, too, but that food is in Ireland! Canada has the cheddar cheese soup and salmon.

Puerto Rico I was upset because I cook better than what they served.

I spoke to a cast member from Puerto Rico last year who said the same thing...If thye have people from these countries working for them how do they get it wrong?

I know it is more dificult to do stuff in bulk, but they must have staff in the kitchens from many of these places.

Just about everything not alcohol or salmon..starting Mon and Tues and returning for as many day or 2 day trips I can wangle.

Hi - first time at F&W and we are also on DDP. We are thinking about grazing during the day for lunch and then using DDP for our dinner TS ressies.

So my question is, what time do the booths open during the day and do they stay open from then on, or are they open for a time for lunch and then a time for dinner?

Thanks. :thumbsup2

The food booths open at 11 a.m. and stay open all day.

Kefta was like a meatball, made of beef & some spices. I had to google it myself to find out what it was made of (I believe it said allspice and a few other things). It was really tasty. They served it in a pita with some veggies. My fiancee said the taste of the meat was similar to a gyro. All I know is when I go back in a few days, I'm standing on line for that again.

I'm a dessert person so I am really looking forward to the Chocolate Lava cake & Godiva Chocolate Iced Coffee.

I plan to print out the entire menu from all the kiosks and do some serious "studying" before we arrive. I want to have a game plan and not waste any precious eating/drinking time! :thumbsup2

What if u put too much money on your card and don't use the money eating at the F and W festival? Also it would seem having a ticket to Epcot would allow all to eat but noooo Disney's gonna make that money.

No food is included with park admission, so why would you expect F&W food to be included? You can use the gift card for anything at Disney.

Nancy is absolutely right - it's a gift card. You can have one card for the whole family and if there is money left use it to buy merchandise or save it for next year. I had a whole $19.00 left on the card at the end of last year's trip then went to the Disney Store and put $300 on it earlier this year.

Honeydiane, not sure I understand your post. You get to enjoy EPCOT plus graze around the world!

I want to try so many things it would use up all of my snack credits! So, to pare down my list, when I find a photo, if it looks appetizing, it stays; if it doesn't, it gets cut. :lmao: Also, if it's under $3, I'll probably pay with a gift card; if it's above, I'll probably use a snack credit. And of course, I'll probably get full (even sharing with the family) before I try even half of my list! :scared1:
