We liked the milk chocolate creme brulee at France (and the Kir). The empanada at Argentina (I think it was Argentina) was also good. The Lava cake at Ireland was wonderful, but I don't see it on the menu this year. :sad1:

2 things in particular I wholeheartedly recommend - the Grilled Beef Skewer with Chimichurri Sauce and Boniato Puree in Argentina (I loved this so much I tried duplicating it at home) and the Lobster and Seafood Fisherman's Pie in Ireland.

France :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
Plus love their selections of champagne. :drinking1

DSis & I always get the grilled lamb chop from Australia! The seafood pie from Ireland is another favorite!

France!!! I think I get one of everything there. :rotfl: Es.car.got.!!

The Belgian waffles.

What about the yummiest adult beverages?
The Cosmo slush and Orange dole whip with white Cream de Cocoa looks awesome!

I'm excited for the refreshment port and Hawaii. Of course Mexico looks good.
We only booked 2 TS the trip because I want to just eat and drink at Epcot!

Maybe I just had a bad batch but that creme brulee tasted like old, cold pudding. I won't be getting it again.(I actually threw part of it away!)

Fisherman's Pie at Ireland is always a hit. Soup at Canada, (Actually the steak at Canada was better then the last steak I ate in LeCellier:rotfl2:)

The Fisherman's pie at Ireland is awesome....I could eat that alone all night. We also LOVED the mongolian beef from China. Last year was our first F&W event so those were the only 2 that really stand out right now. We tried almost everything and those two were my favorite. Oh....the mussels in Belgium too.

Scallop & lobster pie in Ireland - my favorite
Beef bourginoe (?) in France
Grilled lamb chop in New Zealand/Australia. Both were great
The sausage on a pretzel roll in Germany

There were so many delicious things we tried. If Belgium is there the waffles were great.

Just go with an appetite. It's great eating & drinking around the world!

I am loving this thread :goodvibes. We are going to our first F&W Festival too and we are beyond excited. I cannot wait to try the Fisherman's Pie from Ireland . Please keep them coming....we leave in 29 days :woohoo:.

Well, my answer will be boring, but I would say print out the map of all the booths and just go through the offerings to see what would most interest you. Then, be a bit adventurous and try a few things you know you would not have otherwise.

My favorite was definitely the empanada (Argentina). The Cheddar Cheese soup in Canada is amazing as well. This year, we talked about going to EPCOT twice, so that we can get a chance to try as much as we want:cool1: I will admit to going back to old favorites often (we have gone in October consistently since 2006), so we need to get adventurous ourselves

Try not to eat too many different types of foods and drinks. I did the first year and didn't feel too good.

Great tip....Thank you :goodvibes. I would be one of those that would want to try everything in one sitting because it would be like I was a kid in a candy store . I'll just have to keep reminding myself that we have 3 days at Epcot to spread the booths out.

Yes, I've found the amount of tipsy people gets worse year after year!

My faves last year:

France, Escargot in Pastry, had to buy 2 orders, my son ate the first order before I even had a taste! The Chocolate creme Brulee!
Canada, The Beer Cheese Soup, (The filet was so-so, it suffered in the steam table)
Korea, Pork in Lettuce Leaves w/ kimchi (This was one of our faves)
China, Beef in a steamed bun

Last year the usually dependable lamb chop was not to my taste but I would have it again based on past history! We do one pass for the savory foods and then another a couple of hours later for the desserts! I can't drink at noon and continue through the day or I'd have to take to my bed, so I try a little red and a white with the savory and then a champagne/sparkling wine with dessert!

My husband told me the same about the lamb chop. He's hoping it might be better this year, but he'll take a look at it first.

And I think the Belgian waffles with strawberries will make a fine late breakfast after the Tower of Terror party a few hours which ends a few hours before F&W opens up.

When it the best time of day to visit the booths- least crowds for weekday visit? It has been around 5 years since we last went.
