This is our first time to ever go to Disney with someone with food allergies (her first time at Disney too). My brother's girlfriend will be joining us in December and is very worried about eating at the parks. We will be getting the DDP and are hoping she kind find things to eat.
Are there any restaurants anyone would specifically recommend?
Snacks?
Or simply tips.
She is more than willing to bring her own snacks and meals. We are also weighing the point of even getting the DDP if it will be hard for her to find things to eat.
She cannot have eggs, corn, or nuts. The allergy is extremely severe and requires her to carry an epi pen at all times.

Thanks for any help!!!

Email SpecialDiets@DisneyWorld.com about your upcoming trip. They will send her an allergy request form to include all her allergies and your ADR's. They will send that form to your Disney hotel and to each place you have an ADR. They will also send you a long list of allergy friendly snacks around the parks. Chef Mickey's breakfast was awesome when I took my son with 20 allergies. The chef came out to the table to talk to us, and then prepared him fresh allergy friendly food for him. This will be my first time using the dining plan with my now 4 year old son with even more allergies than when we went 2 years ago. POP called me to get an idea on what to serve him, and Cape May buffet called twice. They are fixing him a special rice milk Flan for dessert.

Op can you tell me if they do an inspection on the rooms ? Should I have told the cm when we booked our room? My Ds has allergies to tree nuts , corn yeast ,onions, ginger ,tomatoes ,broccoli , cranberries . My Dd is allergic to Peanuts , eggs, apples , String beans . The nuts and peanut butter and corn and ginger are the ones that we have to use the epi for . I don't want them to think I am making a big deal but I am worried about the oils left behind.

You have do what will keep your kids safe, so don't worry about what they may think. I'm including a link to the special needs requests for room reservations. It lists what special cleaning they do, but you may want to call and ask them the details about each one. HTH

tink, even with a special cleaning, be sure to really check the room well yourself too. I am not sure the housekeeping really understands food allergies and your typical allergy cleaning may not be what you need to keep your child safe. We have a multi allergy 4 year old. We have found a m&m under the bed of a non disney , but rather high end hotel. We tend to wipe down as we would anywhere. For sure request a freshly washed comforter and blankets. The thought of someone eating a peanut butter sandwich on it before us is enough to send me running!!!!!

Do not worry about what they think. Keeping your child safe is #1!!!!!!
