I have peanut, tree nut and shellfish allergies and for this trip have booked 2 pre planned menus which I have not been to before(Hoop Dee Doo and Liberty Tree Tavern-supper).....has anyone ever had issues with either of these meals in regards to food allergies??

We had a great time at Liberty Tree. With the common allergens I would expect both of those to go well.

We've eaten at HDDR several times with multiple people that have long lists of allergies. We've had great experiences every time. You'll walk out of there good and stuffed.

We've only eaten at LTT once and that was for lunch. We enjoyed our meals and the chef was very helpful. Because of our particular allergies there weren't many options especially for one of my kids who tends to prefer either very typical kid foods or else gourmet foods (yes she's weird) because of our particular list of allergies (because of foods that are not on your list) but the chef really went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. Dinner is a very different experience with the fixed all you can eat menu and because of our particular allergies (again, not because of ones on your list) it would just be too limited for us to want to try it. I've read good reviews though of dinner from people with only a couple common allergies.

One of my very best meals was at HDDR last September! As the above poster said, you will leave stuffed! Chef Michael went out of his way to make sure my meal was fabulous and I have a very long list of allergies. I did eat at LTT a few years ago when I was only aware of two of my allergies and that was also a great meal. Have fun!

I am grateful that they don't have place like Texas Roadhouse or Logan's at Disney because I would die there. I wish Disney would have warnings and have restaurants that are safe for all sort of people.:hourglass

Disney is one of safest and easiest places to eat with allergies. They can and will do everything possible not only to keep you safe, but to make you happy! Our PA child loves to eat there and I love not having to worry!

I'm not following what you're saying. Could you please explain what you mean? Many of us around here would like to know if there are problems, or maybe you're not aware of what can be done by chefs at WDW, but based on what you've said it's not clear.

I think the PP is referring to the buckets of peanuts and peanut shells essentially covering the restaurants. Not sure what they are referring to at Disney.

Since Disney has such a large variety of restaurants why would it be a problem. You just don't go to them. Don't go to 5 Guys Burgers and Fries if you have allergies because they also have open bins of peanuts for guests

Hoop Dee Doo and Liberty Tree Tavern should both be completely fine. I'm not allergic to shellfish but just in terms of the nut allergies you wouldn't even need anything modified at either of those meals. The only thing I can think of is the barbecue sauce on the ribs at Hoop might have worchestshire sauce which often has anchovies but in the past it has not. I know the desserts have been nut safe in the past so unless something has changed you should be great. The cornbread at HDDR and the rolls at LTT were both nut safe and some of the few freshly baked baked goods I had the whole trip.
