I'm starting a new thread to bump this up and get specifics about some of the restaurants you've suggested. I really appreciate your help by the way. I would never have considered some of these places.

Brown Derby - The UG guide rates this place pretty high. I checked the menu on Deb's site and everything looks great. Is it better for lunch or dinner? Do most people wear theme park attire here?

Les Chef de France - Please tell me more about the atmosphere. The closest thing I've seen to a French- themed restaurant is the buffet at Paris Hotel Casino in Las Vegas. LOL!

Spoodles - Great location and a good review in the UG guide. In your honest opinion will I like this place if I've never tried Mediterranean food? P.S. I love Sangria!!

I may add more questions but this is it for now. Thanks again.

Youll be SUPER busy riding rides and experienceing disney. Seems to me like I was always walking around stuffed to the gills when I planned food for us. We did so much better playing it by ear for every meal but Dinner.

We planned out where to eat dinner every day and then ate as we were hungry for breakfast and lunch. But I researched the counter service resturants in each park. Be aware of what you like to eat and the general location of the place... IE.. we like burgers so we knew that at MK there was Cosmic Rays and Pecos Bills that had good ones.

For Dinner we liked

Ohanas.. we are carnivores.. great meat options

Garden Grill... A goo down home type place to eat when we were trying "new" things at lunch.

Chef Mickeys... good buffet and fun to see

Whispering Canyon... fun all around.

Determined on..I have ADR'S there for the 9th..I'll tell you about it when I get back. From what I've seen from the outside it's ina great location.. I love the FRench pavilion..I've never been to Spoodles or Brown Derby

DeterminedOne - The Brown Derby is FABULOUS for lunch or dinner. It has been a must do for us for a couple years now. We had Thanksgiving "lunch" there on their patio. The atmosphere and food were so perfect, people watching and listening to Xmas music. The food is delicious. I think the menu is pretty much the same for lunch and dinner?? I am looking forward to eating there in March. We are going twice!!

Chefs de France - never been and don't care to. We ate at Spoodles in 2003 and never went back. I don't see what all the hype is for - maybe things have changed, but it was borderline yucky in 2003. My husband's parents have Greek/Turkish/Egyptian heretage and are from Egypt so we are used to being spoiled by their wonderful cooking. Spoodles was a disappointment. Our service wasn't even good. We just didn't care for our experience there.

Our favorites are O'Hanas (even the new menu - the dessert is so yummy), Yachtsmen Steakhouse, and Brown Derby.

People do wear their park clothes to the BD. It is nice and has an elegant atmosphere, but not stuffy.

Happy planning -
