Anyone care to share what they thought of the sofa bed in a 1 bedroom at OKW? We leave in less than a month and I just thought of it.We are taking my Mom and she will be sleeping on the fold out.Is it comfortable,or is it pretty much the same as you get in most hotels?

Our experience has been pretty good, the sofa beds have been fine for our purposes, but that has been basically for children ( at different times ages 15, 11 and 7) . I'm not sure a heavy adult or someone with a bad back might not find the sofabed as satisfactory. I thought they were better than you get at most hotels, JMHO.

I personally find the fold out couch more comfortable than the bed in the master bedroom. The wife doesn't entirely agree with me, but she says it's "ok." I weigh in at around 220 lbs (or 100 kilos for Vernon) - give or take 10 pounds or so, so I'd think that puts me on the larger adult catagory.

Fold out sofa seems to be OK for 2 teenagers weighting in together at about 210.

They always seem to be in a good mood when they get up - but who wouldn't - your in DISNEY.

My teens use the fold out sofa (not together though, too much kicking, lol) and they like it just fine. If it was not supportive enough, you could probably place the mattress directly on the floor for the evening. Just a thought...

Being the nice daughter, I have had a lot of experience on the couch so that my parents could have the bedroom....

The bed is comfortable but not as comfortable as a "regular" bed. If it seems really uncomfortable, it may be a problem with the mattress. I had this experience on one trip and found that someone had spilled and then flipped over the mattress to hide the stain. It just felt like I was on a torture rack. Housekeeping brought a new mattress and the problem was solved.

Another thing to keep in mind...the windows above your head while you are in bed back up on the balcony for the studio next door. Once you've retired for the night, make sure the blinds are pulled tight or you may find folks coming out on their balcony who will be standing right by your head. ;)

All of our guests who have slept on the hide-a-bed have said it is quite comfortable. My adult son prefers it!

The only real complaints we've had about the sofa bed are it's location in relation to the air conditioning vent. When the air conditioning is going full blast, it tends to blow right onto the bed--my girls always froze--even with a blanket. You might want to turn the a/c down at night if you think that will be a problem for you.

I found the sleeper sofa at OKW much more comfortable then the one at BWV. I could feel the bar through it. It was alright for the kids. I slept on the pull out sofa at OKW and didn't have a problem.:)
