FOFP at 5pm on a MVMCP night?

MDE just told me that the 3:00 FOFP parade I had in my itinerary was no longer available and that the only time was 5:00pm. Is that typical of them to change the time and to have it occur during the arrival of the MVMCP guests. Seems like a bad time to clog main street with a parade. And it sort of messed up my plans for that day since I have a 4:25 7DMT FP, so getting spots for the parade is going to be tough. Just wondering what the chances are of this being an MDE glitch.

This occurred last year on the day there was Parade taping, December 6th. Celebrate a Dream Come True ran at 5:00 - we watched from Frontierland where it was fairly crowded. The plus was that Party-goers were able to watch two different parades during their time in the park.

Parade taping was supposed to be the day prior to this. I wonder if I missed a change to the date for that.

What day will you be in the Park? A revised schedule is showing December 6-9 (4 days of taping).

Are you talking about 12/07? I have the same issue. It it appears that the Christmas Day parade is being taped at MK 12/06-12/09.

The parade taping runs to mid afternoon so they typically push back the regular parade.
