Seriously doubt it. :surfweb:

Yanno, when it happens I'm going to come back here and refresh this just to remind you of how doubtfull you were. :teeth:

I for one hope you are right (because I hate the Simpsons) but I've heard the rumour before I read about it here. sickens me to say the least. :sad2:

I've heard the rumors too and I still am doubtful about the Simpson's connection. I do think BTTF is closing but I just find it hard to believe that the Simpson's will be the replacement.

I guess I will just have to wait and see what was meant by unlimited access to both parks for less than the cost of a one day Disney Hopper. If that is for a season pass that can be used all year without black out dates, I would be so happy. Not that I am holding my breath. That deal would almost be too good to be true.

huh? :confused3 I think your post is a little :offtopic: , but what they mean is: 5 consecutive days at both parks (you can do both parks the same day=hopping) for $75 (the Excitement offer right now). Isn't that about the same price as ONE day at Disney w/ hopping? It's not a season pass (which, btw, is BOGO yr. free w/ Bealls offer) but rather a 5 day ticket. Hope this clears it up for you! :teeth:

I was responding to the post in which Fee Fee mentioned that there was a new ticket angle. Her is the post:

New Ticket Angle Coming Soon to Strike at Disney!!

"Now you can get Unlimited Access to UO's 2 theme parks for the price of a 1 day Disney Park Hopper"

Now you do the math and let me know your thoughts?!?

I guess I was wondering what was meant by unlimited. How long was unlimited. I did not mean to bother anyone by being off topic. I am sorry if I offended anyone.

I think we've been a little hard on FeeFee, haven't we? :( Some of you may not have liked the way she posted and would have done it differently, but a few of you have stopped her from posting what many of us are interested in... the commercials, the new ticket, Blue Man group, etc.

I hope FeeFee comes back and tells us more info about the Focus Group. I would love to hear what it was all about! :wave2:

hey fee fee, come back and play.

you have homies here waiting for you. :teeth:

nope, i wasn't offended, but didn't quite understand where your question came from, that's why i tried to clear up "unlimited" for you (5 consecutive days).....and, I hope i didn't sound like i was bashing feefee, because i wasn't. i even mentioned i "appreciated" fee's good intentions and willingness/eagerness to share, i just suggested i think it could have been done a better way....that's all....i don't "bash" anyone.....like mama said, "if u can't say anything nice, don't say nuthin" :teeth: so, fee, if you're out there, i'm sorry if you took my comment the wrong way...it wasn't meant to sound "bashing" :thumbsup2

Maybe I'm a little lost here, but I'd love to hear more about the focus group, and more about "blue man group", I have no idea what that is about. But I love to hear any news about Universal!

And now I've got to search for the $75 pass, I had an email from US offering it for $85, but $75 is even better.

Yeah, what's up with the Blue Men? Those guys are incredible! They were on PBS twice last week and coming to my hometown on 11/19!!! Whoo-hoo :)

You might want to grab that $85, as I believe the $75 offer is no longer available. (Hasn't been for a week or two)

Uhhm... sure...

The Commercials were in an invitation only focus group that I was paid to attend. They were not aired to the public.

The 7 day pass has been around for years but was called a Stay and Play. The price has just been lowered.

Just an FYI, any new 2 day passes will now expire after 6 days so you won't be able to save the 2nd day. Also the 3rd day free ticket is not being sold anymore.

BLUE MAN GROUP OPENING IN JUNE 2007

Blue Man Group, the wildly successful live entertainment experience is coming to Universal Orlando Resort, opening June 2007. The arrival of Blue Man Group – which will permanently occupy a newly created live performance venue accessible from both Universal CityWalk and Universal Studios – will add an entirely new dimension in live entertainment for Universal Orlando theme park guests and Florida residents. The unique style of Blue Man entertainment has been experienced by more than 10 million people worldwide. They have entertained audiences of all ages with their live stage shows, their touring rock concert, television programming and albums.

And now, Blue Man Group will bring their live show to Universal Orlando Resort. The show will combine music, comedy and multimedia theatrics to create the blissful party atmosphere that is a Blue Man Group trademark.

"Universal Orlando constantly seeks out fresh, innovative entertainment experiences for its guests," said Tom Williams, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for Universal Parks and Resorts. "Blue Man Group is a natural partner for us. Their presence at Universal Orlando will change the live entertainment landscape for all of Central Florida." "Universal Orlando goes above and beyond any theme park, creating cool, stimulating experiences for their guests. And people come to the park looking for a great time and knowing they are going to have their minds blown by top quality rides and entertainment-- it’s the perfect place for a Blue Man show," said Blue Man Group Co-founder Chris Wink.

Blue Man Group will perform from a specially created theater at Universal Studios. The building once housed Nickelodeon Studios and is being re-designed as a 1,000-seat theater complete with its own box office. The Blue Man Group show is being custom-designed for Universal Orlando and will include elements of the group's existing shows as well as newly created material.

Tickets for the new show go on sale immediately, with opening night set for June 7. Contact the Universal ticket line at 888-340-5476 or visit www.universalorlando.com for more information.

Blue Man Group applies its unique creative process to a wide variety of projects, including their wildly popular theatrical shows located in 7 cities worldwide, their touring rock concert "How To Be a Megastar 2.0," and the recording of three albums; the Grammy nominated Audio, The Complex, which became the musical basis for The Complex Rock Tour, and Live At The Venetian® -- Las Vegas, available exclusively on iTunes©. Blue Man Group has also ventured into film and TV scoring (most recently the animated feature Robots), commercial campaigns (such as Intel), and television programs (like the recurring storyline in “Arrested Development”). As the company grows, it remains true to its vision of providing exciting experiences in a variety of media, which appeal to a broad range of age groups and cultural backgrounds.

And I am sure you can search and find that new ticket angle they are advertising if you are interested. :wave2:
