Morning Dis Boards!!!

During Mid July I picked up a last minute assignment courtesy of the USAFE (Europe). 850 miles, 14 hours on the road and a long 21 hour trip, 186 pictures and 2 hours flying later! Seriously....Its a hard life!!!!

My ride for the trip was a KC135 tanker, call sign 'QUID 78 HEAVY'. 23 minutes into the flight we were high above the North Sea ready to begin the mission!

Anyway four for just now, If you like them I have plenty, plenty more......

Brilliant shots SS. Like your website too. :thumbsup2

I like the first one best. :)

Wow! Awesome shots!! The first and second are my favorites! Those A10's are cool looking planes I tell you! It's still amazing to me how they can refuel in midflight with the boom, it's incredible! Anyway, great shots!! :thumbsup2 I'd love to see some more!

AMAZING

I got goosebumps looking at those, awesome!! When I was a kid, we used to camp at myrtle beach and the a10's would fly around all day, they have the coolest engine noise.

Thanks for posting those.
John

Nice pics of the A-10s, they were always one of my favorite aircraft.

Great shots yet again!:thumbsup2 My husband was looking over my shoulder when I clicked on your thread..and he said 'ooooooh aye, thats more like it':rotfl:

I told him there is other shots on another thread and he got on to me for not showing him;) ...off to show him now!!!;)

edited to say...showed him and he's WELL impressed!!!!

Totally cool!

It is cool to see pics that the normal person does not have the opportunity to see. Normal as in the "normal" person in not is the air re-fueler to get the shots.;)

My son (the military aircraft buff) loved your A10 pictures! They're great, thanks for sharing!

LOVE your shots!!! They are fantastic!! :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 My hubby used to fly A-6's for the Navy and that boom shot is superb!! I've seen many from different perspectives and your's is one of the best yet!! I can't wait to show him this thread! (He's off in the woods with the boys at the moment!!)

I would just like to say Thank You to you all for your extremely nice comments. You really know how to make a guy blush!!

I am sorry If I dont post too often, But I will at least try to post a new set once a week. Things get rather hectic before the Airshow season. I am off to join the Red arrows in April so make sure you guys get first look!!!

Once again: many, many thanks and yes the A10 is awesome, but what I would do to to fly an A6 Intruder :scared1:

Have a good weekend guys and Olivia, try to be a good wife and keep the Hubby up to speed!!!!

Hey all, since this is kind of a military pics thread, here are I few I took last year when I was in Japan working on their Aegis project.

Andy,

Those are some FANTASTIC shots! Great job! Boy, you must get great seats at the air shows huh? :lmao: Looks like your seats are probably a couple thousand feet closer than mine. Here is the best warthog pic I got at the Cape Cod airshow last summer. This is with a major crop as the original was not much airplane and ALOT of sky! There are a few others to keep the military theme going but I have shown them all on here before so I don't want to bore anyone with them again. Alot of shots are in this thread:

For now, here are 4 pics:
