flying with glow sticks

can i put glow sticks in my carry on? or must they be checked?

They have to go in your checked luggage.

IIRC I put them in with a quart ziploc bag once. They are liquid, so they need to be in the limited liquid space.

You can check them, but I'd really double bag them to make sure they won't cause any leaks.

I've also put them into my "ship down" box before, as I rarely check luggage.
