This coming trip will be the first time that I have ever flown and I have a security question. I know now that adults have to show thier IDs in order to pass thru security, so they require that for children as well? We have a 4 & 12 yr old and I want to plan ahead of time if we need to get them ID cards.

My(DD) 3 and a half year old has been to Disney four times. We have never had to show any kind of Id for her at the airport. I don't believe it is required. I do carry a copy of her birth certificate. :wizard:

Nope, kids do not need IDs. We have always had some kind of ID for my dd anyway. Her school does an ID that she carries with her. She is 12.
