Flying with an underwire???

I have had both my hips replaced so I always set it off in airports and circuit courts. (lawyer here so in court a lot) When they wand me, it beeps near the underwire bra too. Interesting the ONLY place I do not set it off is in the Federal Court house.

I always stop and put all metal objects in my suitcase before going through security but...

Once I forgot about my neck chain and it tripped the security wand. Fortunately the (male) guard saw part of the chain and did not make me take off my sweatshirt and did not send me to the dreaded secondary screening.

I always wear underwire and have never set of any alarms.

Just flew minneapolis to Orlando . I wear underwire and had rivets on my jeans and I set off the bells and whistles in MSP. My hubby laughed because he has pedicule screws(4 as big as my pointer finger) in his back and a letter from the doctor. I didn't set them off in Orlando. Thank goodness because we were late for our flight already due to that huge convention last week.

That is so funny you mention this, I had a problem with this during our last trip. They had to call a female security officer over, and she kept waving her wand over my **** and touching there as well. She asked if it was an underwire and I said yes- and she STILL touched. My DH was hysterically laughing! I didn't know if I should laugh or cry!!!
