Flying with a Trach?

I have a son with special needs and am trying to help someone who is flying for the first time with their child. The child has a trach which my son does not so I am unfamiliar. Can anyone tell me if there is any problem flying with a trach? Anything they should know?
 
I would suggest they talk to their pulmonologist/respiratory therapist.

A lot would depend on whether the child requires supplemental oxygen or not for flying. They would also need to plan for if the child needs suctioning during the flight.
