flying to tampa questions

We are thinking about flying to Tampa on a Monday arriving at 11:00 AM and departing on a Tuesday at 9:00 AM. in June. People traveling with us say traffic is horrible in FL. We are more concerned about departing flight at 9 AM. How long should we allow for traffic and car return from Kissimmee to Tampa.

We flew into Tampa this May. The traffic was not bad (compared to what I'm used to in Houston). We flew in Sunday morning and out the next Sunday night. Travel time between Tampa and Disney was a little over an hour for us. On our departure day we left Disney around 4pm for our 8pm flight. This gave us plenty of time to fill up with gas, drop off rental car, check-in, and eat a bite before our flight out with extra time to spare. I would do it again if the price was right.
