Hello Everyone

My family and I will be going to Disney the last week of Sept. I have been looking into flights on Song and Jet Blue. The fare is roughly $580 for 3 tickets round trip. I am trying to decide whether to book now or wait and see if the fares drop. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Thanks

I consider anything under $200 round trip each to be a great rate. Especially if you are getting the times and dates you want. If it was me, I would go ahead and book.

I think it is a good idea to set a target price, and when you find a fare below that to go ahead and book it. You can make yourself crazy trying to save a few bucks, but you risk fares going up too.

That's not a bad price. For August I'm paying $175 on Song from JFK. I got a price of $145 RT out of LGA in October. But I bought them a few months ago and prices have gone up. This weekend I'm paying $275 because I only bought a month and a half ahead of time.

That is a GREAT price for 3 tickets! Especially on Song. (Much better than Spirit.)

I wouldn't wait. I have been watching airfare for about a month - nothing great. My DH finally said ok to an end of August trip. So I watched for another week. I watched $260.00 round trip out of Newark disappear!!! The only flights left were $290.00 with terrible returns out of Orlando (6:30 a.m.). I must have checked NY, PA, NJ 3 times a day.

I finally booked out of Baltimore $707.00 round trip for 4 people!! My sister lives 1/2 hour from airport, so we'll stay there overnight before we leave/return.

My 2 cents :)

We're flying Song out of LGA in November at $145/pp...booked those several months ago.

We're not flying down on 6/17 for a short visit and I'm paying $175/pp on JetBlue out of JFK. I simply cannot touch anything out of Newark. I really don't think the fares are going to come down and if you check the seating charts, you'll see that most of the planes are pretty full already.

We love Song but have heard that JetBlue is similar. Now if I can only figure out the parking situation. Having grown up in Queens, we never had to park...someone either drove you or you took a cab.
