Are you guys sick of my planning yet?I know I am. Since I am still very concerned over crowds I would like to head out 12/16. Yes, my kids will miss 2 days of school....well, DS will miss 1 and his Holiday party. Anyway, DH absolutely can NOT leave 'till the 18. Am I silly to leave 2 nights ahead of DH? Will there be a big difference in the crowd level between Thues 12/16 and Sat 12/18? Also, the times that are best for DH are at a premium 330...but the fares for me and the kids are pretty good...170. We are sticking with the same airline because of our return flight. It will get us back on 12/25 in time to visit @ MIL house....I lost that battle (long story)anyway...I feel a bit odd traveling ahead of DH...WHO ELSE HAS SPLIT UP THEIR FAMILY DURING A VACATION?

I probably would never think of leaving before my DH could. I think the crowds are going to be what they are and 2 days isn't going to make a difference.

How old are your kids? Because my daughter is young I would not travel without my DH and it is the holiday season so the airports will be busy. What does your DH think of traveling alone?

I would go for it and enjoy the time with your children. Plus the $160 per person that you save will buy you a lot of fun!

We used to do it that way practically every trip we ever made to Orlando before moving here.

Have fun and enjoy!
