at the moment I am looking at flight times and there are two options. None of the are perfect, but need concidering.

This will be a conecting flight (I want to CDG). So first option is flying early - 6am and arriving 13 at CDG. Second option is departing 14.55 and arriving 21.55.
We won't be staying in DLP hotel that night, but we could walk around disney village, and have a lazy day after flight. But do I need that? Early departure, get up early, 2 hours before flight... Not too good.

Arriving late.. baggage claim... and off to bed for early start?

So, what would you choose?

I would do the early flight - depending on how far a drive your home is from the airport? But then I prefer the early starts, because otherwise if we have afternoon flights I'm sat twiddling my thumbs for hours just waiting to get going!

hmm so really you're all going to have to be up out of bed at around 2.30am? No, thats too early for me, so it would be the afternoon flight.

unless we spent a night at my aunt's :upsidedow

:rotfl: okay so if she lives next to the airport, then I'm back to the early flight again!

I'd say definitely the early flight, but then I always like to get off as early as possible rather than sit around waiting. You might have an early start but you'll have the afternoon to relax and then you can have an early night ready for the next day. If the later flight arrives at 21.55 it could be midnight before you get to bed if you factor in baggage collection, transport etc.

:thumbsup2 I agree with this. The early flight is better as if ever you had delays arriving at CDG it could be very very late getting to the hotel and you would start the next day tired. If you get the early flight you could always go to DV etc and be in the magic :goodvibes

I still have time to sort things out. Doubt the timetable will change. Unless a deal comes up. Do Lufthansa ever have deals?

They have sales at certain times (or at least they do on the French site) :)

Were getting a late flight into cdg at 20.50pm and staying at a airport hotel. 7am in the morning getting tgv to Disney , hopeing to be in the check in Que at the new York by 7.30 am. Ive kids so 6am would be insane unless we were going to Spain ect so we could lie on the sun lounger all afternoon lol!!

ah, French site... I can book over French site, right?

I don't see why not but I've never tried buying airtickets from another country as I can normally get cheaper through sites like Govoyages etc.

Have a look on govoyages.com and see from your local airport to CDG what prices they come up with :)

I wish I understood French.

Anyone used Austrian airlines?

If you want any help just ask :thumbsup2

Have flown to Vienna with Austrian, no pbs, for a short flight I wouldn't be to bothered by the company as long as it was a regular one. The low cost ones are pretty useless if there are delays in my experience.

Ryanair gives me the best price, can't argue with that, direct, but it's to Beauvais and lands 22.30 :crazy2:

Airbaltic has nice price if I fly from Riga, but that's 250km away and it's 9.30 am flight. Direct to CDG.

And then I have Austrian and Lufthansa flights. Higher prices - better service? But those are connecting flights.
