Flying Southwest question...

I'm not sure where to put this. Hope Budget Board is ok. I'm flying to LAX this summer for a conference (at Anaheim Marriot!) and the school has paid for my tickets and coworkers tickets. Am I right in remembering that I had to check in or swipe the credit card used? I won't have it, is that going to be a problem?

No - you will only need your confirmation number not a credit card when dropping off your luggage (and an ID

You will also use your confirmation number to check in 24 hours before your flight. Cheers!

You should get a confirmation number. You'll need to check in 24hr before your flight. If you have a smart phone, you can have the ticket email/texted to you directly.

I check in on my phone and then print my ticket at the airport. You can use any credit card or an ID to swipe at the kiosk. The machine picks up your name on the mag strip on the back of the card. Maybe that is what you are thinking about.
