Flying Southwest? Going on a Cruise? READ THIS

If you can't pre-print your boarding pass on southwest, a lot of times it means that you've been tagged for the extra screening. This has happened to my parents twice and that's what they told us.

I am not a fan of Southwest, but they can be a lot cheaper and for us they are a direct flight into MCO...anyways when we went last year b/c we had a 3 yr old we were in Group A...

I would personally demand to sit w/ my child under no cirumstance would I leave my child under the age of 13 sitting next to a stranger. But that's me paranoid mama!!!

Good luck!

They technically don't have to sit you with your children, it's the risk you take when you fly Southwest. I do know that they do everything possible, but people won't always move for you. On one of our flights from Long Island on southwest back down here to Florida, we got to the airport late and were in group C. We were not all together, though close in the back of the plane and there was nothing that I could do about it. People were already sitting down and with their kids and didn't want to make room for the 5 of us. We had no choice but to let our oldest sit by herself. Remember, people do allow their kids to fly unaccompanied all the time, so the airlines will only do so much for you.
