Hi everyone,

We are flying tomorrow - hooray!!
I remember reading that some people take some benadryl, others take supplements, etc. for the flight but I can't find the thread!

So here goes - what do you take when flying?
Not looking for anything in particular - just curious to see what your rituals are!

Ginger root is my only natural supplement on my list!

Thanks!

Chantal

I take 3 .50mg zanax a half hour before boarding and a restroom break. The zanax is not enough to make me out of it... but enough to take the edge off. Also only drink one soda while in flight so I don't have to use the restroom on the plane.

I'm a Gravol girl. For an early morning flight, one dose as soon as I get out of bed and a second before I board. I get airsick/headachy very easily when I fly, and Gravol usually helps immensely.

If I have a cold, or feel like one is coming, or suffering with allergies, I take a decongestant. Otherwise, nothing.

I take decongestant and bring gum since my inner ears do not do well flying. I also always book an aisle seat so I can stretch my legs, then I sit back and watch TV or read a book on my Nook.

I take a dramamine as soon as I get through security, that's when the motion sick feeling hits me!

Take nothing, but have in the past stayed up late so I am tired. then sleep whole flight.
