We are flying out of Baltimore and I'm not sure about parking. We need long term parking for about 12 days. We usually fly out of Philly but SW didn't have any good flights this time. Anybody know where to park that is the cheapest? Thanks.

We always fly out of BWI when going to Cancun. We generally have an early flight so we go down the night before. The Embassy Suites at BWI has a park and fly rate. You get a 2 room suite, manager's reception and free cooked to order breakfast as well as free parking for up to 30 days and a free airport shuttle - all for the price of a room. When you get back, just go to a courtesy phone and the shuttle will come pick you up. With long-term parking being $7-$8 a day, we figure that the room basically doesn't cost us anything if we figure in the breakfast and manager's reception.

I agree with Marty, we always do a park-sleep-fly package at one of the airport hotels. We shop around for the best deal.

If you do decide to park in long term, it's very easy to navigate. There are lots of shuttle stops aroud the lots & the 7th day is free. Just remember the color of your lot! My hubby wouldn't believe me & was convinced our car was the color he remembered. The kids & I spent a long wait with the bags while he had to get on another shuttle to find the correct lot -the color I had told him of course! :sad2:

It's about $10 a day, but we really like the new "daily garage." The buses come quickly, and your car is undercover.

I just flew out of BWI and used Airport FastPark. It was easy. The drivers were courteous. The even had free bottles of water on the shuttle. With the coupon on their web page, they charge $7/day. Theres a directions to the lot on their page as well. I flying to Orlando in September and will certainly use them again.

How do you find the park and fly rates for the Embassy Suites? This sounds like an interesting option for us, and I want to look into it a little further- also, what is a "Manager's reception?"

Thanks,
Lisa

Thanks for all of the info. Unfortunately, we are flying out at 6:45 pm and won't be able to use the hotel idea. That did sound like a good idea. I will check out the other options. I knew you guys would help me out. Thanks again.

Heidi

If you go to www.embassysuites.com and get rates for the Embassy Suites BWI they will list their "sleep, park and fly" rate. The manager's reception is 2 hours of open bar with "pickies" - chips, popcorn, etc.

I looked at BWI's webpage, and I found some other hotels that offer the "Stay and Fly" options- has anyone tried any of the other hotels out? The Best Western offers a good rate, as does the country inn, microtel inn, and a few others. I just don't want to spend a lot of money for a hotel room in Baltimore that I could be spending in Disney, you know?

Thanks so much,
Lisa

I am leaving in August and also intrested in park and fly options other then ES. Anyone?

I could hardly believe my eyes! This place is not far from the airport...for... get this:
$4.75/day plus they have a coupon for $1.00 off/day and you can sign up for their frequent parker program and get a day free for every 5 days you park!!! I don't know how popular it is, but you can make a reservation for a space and even if you pull up and the lot is full, you get in.
I'm parking here in July! :cheer2:
