Hi I am flying spirit from Detroit and got a great rate of $94.00 rt for our family. I haven't flown them and was wondering how they are. Thanks :thumbsup2 :cheer2: pixiedust: :mickeyjum
Thanks again for any input.

My op of Spirit
Spirit has some of the nicest FAs in the business and the worst customer service people. So as long as you don't need to deal with their customer service, they are just fine.

We've flown Spirit Airlines out of Detroit several times. We've had a couple of flight delays, but that can happen on any airline. One time we had a long delay out of Fort Myers and we were given $100 each towards our next flight.

I would not hesitate to fly Spirit.

Spirit has very inexpensive upgrades to their "Spirit Plus" class which has business class seats. It is a nice perk. I'd be flying them more often myself if they offered more service from my home airports.

I've flown SPIRIT a number of times out of DTW and they are a basic no frills airline. Bring your credit card if you want to purchase snacks or drinks onboard because they do not accept cash. Also, there are no pillows or blankets available.

Only real downfall of flying SPIRIT out of DTW is that nasty Smith Terminal they use. Once the new one is up and running, things will be better. Until then, bring lots of hand sanitizer...YUCK!
