Flying NW in Jan., how will ME be effected?

They have now officially switched FF miles over to Delta. We fly NW the end of Jan. and I was wondering, since Delta owns NW, will we have any problems taking care of baggage charges online by then and will ME be a problem in any way? Will we need to contact NW phone # or Delta's if we have a problem with flights once we leave?

There is only one number to call to pre-pay baggage, regardless of which participating airline you fly, so they should be able to handle that part.

For now, NW is still operating its own customer service phone system. That could change by January, but I don't think it will. I'd call the NW number. I'm guessing that even if they are consolidated before then the NW number will still route you to the right place.
