We are leaving to Disney World in a week and we have a flight that leaves Winnipeg early in the morning and then have approx. 70 minutes from the time our flight lands in Toronto till we catch the flight to Orlando. I phoned West Jet and they told us not to worry. Any suggestions or Tips on how to make the transfer fast and easy when we land in Toronto? Anything we can do beforehand? We have 1 young boy, so no sprinting for us. Thanks

We do this flight all the time. Just follow the signs to pick up your luggage for US connecting flights (it's to the right, in a little cubby area) and then head through customs and then you need to head back to your gate. It's a lot of walking but if you need help just ask the WestJet staff, they are awesome! I believe I have a deltailed description in my first trip report, the link is my siggie. Hope that helps!

You should be fine but once you get to customs make sure you listen for your flight or flight time. They will pull you out of the line eventually and bring you to the front. We HATE flying through Toronto and avoid it at all costs as Montreal or Boston is better for us. TO is just too crowded. When we do fly through there now, we don't even rush. They pull you out anyway. The way I look at it, would I want to spend an hour in a cattle line or take my time, get in line for 20 mins and then be pulled out. It's a horrible system they have in TO, just too many people. And by no means use your Cell in the line. I was texting and the customs officer made a big deal about it. When I asked "why no cell phone use", he said "why do we use stop signs" :confused3 I'm not quite sure it was a good example lol.

Have fun!

Not having to change terminals is a huge time saver.
