Flying into Sanford. ? about rental car...

We're flying in and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Sanford 2 days before our cruise.

What's the cheapest way to get to the port for our cruise? We'll also need transportation from the port back to our Holiday Inn Express the day of the cruise as we fly out the following day.

I think the cheapest way is to rent a car and drive to the port. We rented at WDW and dropped it off at Port Caneveral. It was only about $60 each way. We rented for a day and got to use the car to go shopping, etc. before the cruise.

The cheapest way is definitely renting a car and dropping off over there before you get on the boat. However, dropping off and picking a car back up might be a little more hassle than you would want. The only other way is to pick up a car service from the Sanford airport web site and use them from the Holiday Inn.

It would cost you about $220.00 round trip, you might have to make a few calls for the price, but then you get dropped off and picked up at the boat compared to the drop off and pick up at the rental car company in Cocoa Beach. The driving time is one hour from Sanford.
