So, @farmfresh2, how's your DL trip going so far? Flight and arrival went okay?
Well I was at the parks Sunday and it was a great day
We went to DCA and walked....walked on Toy Story in the afternoon and then the coaster reopened right after and were on in under 10 mins, we only used a LL on mermaid because we had one but was not needed
The heat or something was keep crowds lower then what I've been seeing. We will see what happens next month but feels like its a good time to be at the parks if you enjoy low waits

I was at Disneyland yesterday and it was really empty. I think it was a combo of the heat and the park closing at 9 pm for Pride Nite. POTC was walk on. It is the first time in forever (pun intended) that I didn't see a queue over the bridge.
I was never sure if this translated to DLR (and/or WDW) - but, in the broader theme park community, Easter, Mothers Day, and Fathers Day are considered three of the lightest attendance days of the spring.Allegedly attendance is always poor on Father’s Day.
Parks were super heavy on Saturday. DCA had a very light crowd yesterday (we didn’t go into DL). RSR still managed a 45-minute wait all day but Guardians was often 30.

What is your experience with what time the toll plazas normally close at TS or M&F/PP?I’m guessing that the lower tier MK - which also has the most users - is blacked out has a lot to do with it, We sometimes go on Friday nights (after the parking toll collection has ended) to see the fireworks. We usually travel with somebody whose handicap and park in the handicap spots of TS lot and I recognize most of the cars because they are there every single Friday (and maybe other days midweek, we don’t go). Last Friday the lot was pretty empty.

They do that at Disneyland as well. They even give flowers to all mothers coming through the gates (at least in the morning).
Yesterday was idyllic...today was HORRENDOUS! Couldn't get through security huge lines, really slow old man opening EVERY SINGLE ITEM! Long, long entry lines at DL at 8:15 this am. It's really hot and miserable and so basically I just did my tour, shopped a bitand came back and packed. Home tomorrow...I was at Disneyland yesterday and it was really empty. I think a lot of people do back to back Pride Nites so the day in between becomes very crowded.Yesterday was idyllic...today was HORRENDOUS! I had a reservation for yesterday and, on June 8, I received an email saying the following.Well, thats prolly true to a point but according to the people behind me, "Disney didnt tell ANYONE about this Pride Night thing" and now " we get kicked out of the park early, can you believe that after all the money we paid?". OMG, sometimes my tongue gets so sore from biting it!
I went on two Star Wars nights.....and the parks had low crowds. In fact I got more rides down on may 4th then days Ive been until midnight
So funny how the pride event is bringing in a different crowd then the other hard ticket event and changes the parks crowds
We were there May 4th and yesterday (both times being the second day of a two day stay). May 4th was noticeably lighter than May 3rd (which was a very rough day operationally so it probably felt even more crowded than it was), but I would say yesterday was the least crowded of all four days… we walked by Indiana Jones around 5 PM and it was a 15 minute line. I almost felt guilty not getting in line. Pirates queue was inside the building. We had just gotten off thunder Mountain, which was also effectively a walk on. We did Jungle Cruise with a line of less than 20 people ahead of us… then we walked onto Buzz Lightyear for the second time that day. When we went to redeem LL at MMRR around 2:00 the posted wait was 10 minutes. The kids wanted to hit some rides in DCA before dinner (DCA much was more crowded).I went on two Star Wars nights.....and the parks had low crowds. Agree with this. We were there in the evening and had a similar experience.I did not think Saturday was bad at all! The worst was getting through the toll booth and parking. Waited a long time for that process, but security was easy and trams were quick. My longest wait was mid morning for Rise at 45 minutes. But Buzz and Star Tours were near walk ons in the middle of the afternoon.
