Flying in Thanksgiving evening

What would be the best place to get a quick dinner? Will probably eat T-Day dinner before flying down. Will be staying at CBR, is the restaurant there open or would it be crowded as well??

We have vacationed during that week for the past couple of years and IMO the crowds are pretty heavy on Thanksgiving Day. I think you should be okay with a counter service restaurant, but would suggest reservations if you are looking for a sit down restaurant. We had reservations and while we were waiting for our PS we could overhear the walk-ins being given long wait times.

The table service restaurants will all be booked on Thanksgiving. CBR has a food court where you could get a quick meal, but you'll need to stick with counter service if your looking to eat without reservations.

If you have a really good idea of what time you're getting in, you can make reservations for TS, just make sure you call significantly in advance. It should be a little easier to get a reservations if you're not looking to be seated until 9 pm or so (most people are trying to make reservations for 5 pm-8pm).

2 years ago we PS at WCC and it worked out great. Our only problem was that hubby left the "bathroom bag" on the mears van and I couldn't brush my hair before dinner. Luckily my friends love us for more than our looks. We did go to MK after dinner and watch the fireworks, it was a great night!!!

How crowded was MK that night?

I haven't booked our airline yet so I will keep that in mind when making the arrangements.

We really only went for Spectro and the fireworks. We landed around 3:30 on Thanksgiving , we checked in and went over to WL for dinner (I think about 6p) . We had met friends for dinner but we went by ourselves over to MK. MK was crowded but we didn't venture into the park. We did get good spots for both!!! This year I will be in Vero for Thanksgiving and will check into Disney on Saturday! Haven't quite figured out where yet!!!
