Looks like it was a newbie who replied to the old thread....but hey, now we know why it may have been bad?? Very possible the main chef has changed since??

Yep, that was me. I am the "newbie" that dug up the old thread, but I am glad I did...

The Chef has changed quite a few times at the FF.
1. John State (original chef, left to be chef du cusine at California Grill)
2. Roberty Curry (left the Company in 2003)
3. Jens Dahlman (left about one or two months ago to replace John State at California Grill...who left the company)

No chef has been hired to replace Jens at this time...

Yes they have replaced him.

We went in Aug06 with my son(11) who really enjoyed it. I liked the food but thought it was $$$ what we had. There were lots of little children- so no worries about taking little one:-)

We always dine at FF when at WDW, maybe four times a year. It has always been *very* good except for once, and that was more the server than anything.
We had our engagement dinner and our wedding rehearsal dinner at FF, both were just great!

Speaking of servers at FF, Bradlee is absolutely tops, the best we know of at WDW! Attentive, witty, gracious, and extremely knowledgeable about the food and wine selections.
If you like cats, ask to see photos of his! And tell him boB and Suzie sent you.
