Staying at Beach club, 1st kid free trip, wanting to try a couple of signatures within walking distance. Any opinions appreciated.

For our anniversary dinner we choose Shula's. Everything was spot on. The boursin mac and cheese is worth a trip alone!

Haven’t been to Shula’s so won’t weigh in there. But oh goodness is Bluezoo vs. Flying Fish a tough choice. So tough I did both on our last trip in Oct and plan to in April as well (we also stay at an Epcot resort). I’m really not sure how to choose. Does one menu appeal more? I prefer the decor in Flying Fish, have had great service at both spots - would maybe give the slight edge to FF. Bluezoo tends to have a more adult, convention crowd - although I’ve seen kids there. You can’t go wrong with either one. Enjoy!!!

I still haven't eaten at Shula's WDW. Had the best intentions of doing so earlier this month at the bar so the man could watch a football game there. He changed his mind after noting the scene at the ESPN Club and went there instead.

I have eaten at Shula's in Ft. Lauderdale which has a lighter touch as far as the football decor is concerned. No dark paneled wood, club chairs, or oversized pictures of football plays in ornately carved gold leaf frames. Regarding the food, it was a decent enough meal although not up to the steakhouses of mid town Manhattan IMO.

As far as Yachtsman we had an enjoyable meal there as well. Very family friendly decorated in a style that made me feel I was in one of many New England restaurants I've been to in the past; there was a certain comfort in that. Food was cooked to order (a porterhouse steak for two,

Choosing between these two steakhouses, I'd choose the one that had more items on the menu that create interest to me and mine:).

Regarding Flying Fish and bluezoo, it's a clear choice on this end: Flying Fish. It's consistent in service and execution of it's dishes; unfortunately can't say the same for bluezoo.
Both are decorated in similar styles.

Oh, not sure what time of the year you are going but if it's "free" dining then definitely Blue Zoo or Shula's. The Disney owned restaurants will be jammed packed with families trying to squeeze every last penny out of the dining plan.

They are all very good restaurants, but I prefer Blue Zoo over Flying Fish and prefer Shula's over Yachtsman. Are you on the DDP? If you are, then Blue Zoo and Shula's are not on the DDP.

Have never been to Shula's. Went to Yachtsman once, and didn't love it. I prefer Flying Fish to bluezoo. I've always had good meals at Flying Fish, and believe it or not...the fish was waaay over cooked at bluezoo the first time we went. I've been back, and do enjoy it, but prefer Flying Fish for dinner. I do like bluezoo for a drink and apps though.

Have not been to Shulas or Yachtsmans, so no idea for them.
As much as I enjoy Flying Fish, BlueZoo is much better.
