Flying Fish or Narcoossee's???

I actually preferred my most recent meal at Narcoossee's compared to Flying Fish (both were in May). However, I think Flying Fish has a bigger selection of good seafood, whereas Narcoossee's has just one or two dishes that I think are worth ordering (like the crab-crusted fish).

You won't be disappointed with either (I am a big foodie)
Narcoosee's if you're bringing children because it's a bit more casual IMO, and if you have late ressies, you might catch the elusive water electric light parade.
Flying Fish- had our "adults only" dinner here and loved it.
I suggest to choose the restaurant based on your plans prior to dinner. If you'll be in Epcot- do F.F. if it's Magic Kingdom, do Narcoosees

beats both hands down.
Sounds like the reason more people don't do bluezoo is because it's not on the DDP. Although I guess if it were, quality would be down. Based on all the positives I've heard, I'm looking forward to trying bluezoo in August! :goodvibes

I prefer FF by a wide margin over Narcoossee's. Better atmosphere and much better food.

Also, a previous poster suggested that Narcoossee's would be better with children. I disagree. Both restaurants happlily accomodate children and there will be lots of kids at either place. Don't let that factor into your decision.

Flying Fish!! We went to both on our last trip and Flying Fish was by far so much better. We loved everything we ate at Flying Fish.

Flying fish for the bigger selection of fish and seafood. We've been to both and while both are good, for what you want it's FF.

having done both, you cannot go wrong with either choice. However, I loved the atmosphere of FF more than Narcoosee's. The food was excellent at both, but FF was truly memorable. We will go back to FF for sure next time.... :thumbsup2

My call is Flying Fish over Narcoosee's. Had a fantastic meal with fantastic service in May.

If you want lobster, Narcoossee's. Anything else (including steak), Flying Fish.

While I can't really say which one would be better for your family, I can say that Flying Fish is the better restaurant for seafood and the better restaurant overall, by far.

In my opinion, Narcoosee's doesn't even deserve its signature status.

I've read a number of really negative review of Narcoosee's. Personally, we really enjoyed our meal at FF. The signature red snapper is delicious. We had lovely food and service, too.

Flying Fish! The food was excellent, as well as the service and atmosphere. The crab cake appetizer was delicious!!:thumbsup2

Of the two, I'd pick FF. But ultimately, I'd make the extra 5 minute walk to the Dolphin and go to bluezoo. Of course, if you are limiting yourself to DDP restaurants, this wouldn't work for you.

Flying Fish is the best dining plan restaurant offering fish/seafood. It's a lot better than Narcoosees.

Been to Narcoosees in 2009 and 2010, Flying Fish 2010. Reviews of both with pics - go to the link below.

Narcoosees just seems like a decent seafood place... nothing special. It is nice to visit the Grand Floridian Resort and Narcoosees does have a view of the MK fireworks and electric lighted boat parade if your timing is right. But Flying Fish's food was VERY good. Blows Narcoosees out of the water. And just outside Flying Fish, there's entertainment on the Boardwalk... magicians, jugglers, comedy, etc... That made the night very fun. Be sure to check out my review...

Now for my next trip... I just can't decide if we are eating at Flying Fish Cafe 2 times, or 3 times for dinner. Well worth the 2 credits on the deluxe dining plan. Blue Zoo's menu looks pretty good too!
