Flying Fish, Narcoossee, Yachtman's: Pick Two!

DW and I are heading back to the World for a 10 day celebration and have made numerous TS reservations. We are trying to choose our last two. Please help!

We love Flying Fish and Yachtsman; they're two of our favorite places. We've never been to Narcoossee's, but we're going to remedy that this trip. I voted FF and YS b/c one is a great fish place and the other a great steak place, so you get one of each. Plus, the atmospheres at each are very different.

I don't really understand what the third option meant - "Flying Fish is too much like a banquet." By "banquet" do you mean dinner show? Or buffet? Well they do have an on-stage kitchen, but you don't have to sit there; it's fun to walk by and see the food being prepared, and watching the chefs in the back, etc. It doesn't feel like a dinner show. Also, it's nothing like a buffet... if that's what you mean...

For the 3rd option, my DW feels like FF meals may seem like "banquet food"--mass produced rather than carefully prepared. She's a bit of a food snob.

We would do YSH for sure. Between the other two, it would probably be FF. But Narcoossee's would get the nod if you're going to be in the area anyway.

love the lobster & almond crusted cheesecake at narcoosees

never ate at yachtsman - but we love steak, and someday we will eat there!

I picked FF and Yachtman's. We didn't care for Narcoossee. The food was just okay but nothing that we couldn't get from a regular seafood place at home. The other 2 have more foodie like menus in my opinion.

OMG! Richard!!! He was the attendant at our wedding - the nicest guy you'll ever meet! Good review by the way - very scattered, yet also very amusing.
