Has anyone eaten here-would you reccommend it?? I think we're going to try all signature restaurants this trip-we have free dining...we'll pay OOP for cheaper lunches at QS restaurants. I've been less and less impressed with the food quality and restaurants the last few trips, and I think maybe stepping it up-to signature places might cahnge that.:woohoo:

I have enjoyed the food at Flying Fish and have eaten there 4-5 times in the past.

Not sure by your post if you know that you cannot combine a QS and a TS credit to eat at a signature dining restaurant on the DDP. With the free DDP, you get one QS, one TS and one snack credit per day. The signature restaurants require 2 TS credits per visit (Flying Fish, Jiko, Yachtsman Steakhouse, CA Grill, Narcoossee's, Brown Derby, Citrico's, CRT, Artist Point, dinner shows)

thanks, no I am aware how the dining program works. Its funny-I dont expect to go on vacation and not pay for anything. Some people are good and only stick to the meals allotted-that would make me nuts and I can see how some people get all worked up about the ADRs and stuff. I usually pay for a few extra TS meals anyway. I just wanted to make sure the food there was good.

Flying Fish is my favorite Disney signature. The food is excellent. It's also a decent place to go with children because it has the open kitchen which is interesting to watch.

We ate here in Oct and fell head over heels in love with it! The menu is great but pricy...the food is totally worth it

My DH and I ate at the Flying Fish for the first time in March - we absolutely lioved it. The service was excellent. We split a crabcake appetizer. My DH had the potato wrapped snapper - it was too die for. I ordered the scallops and risotto which were also very good but I liked my husband's entree better than mine. We had a sorbet trio for dessert - mango - strawberry and lylchee - very very good. We are gonig to be at Disney for the 4th of July weekend and I made sure to get an ADR for the Flying Fish. Give it a try - I am sure you will love it.

Just got back yesterday and our last meal was at Flying Fish - our first time and we all agreed that it was as good (or better) than California Grill....had the lamb chops, NY strip steak and I had the pasta dish....great service, great wine list and nice atmosphere - I think you'll be pleased :goodvibes

We had started to notice that our "favorites" were doing as good as they once were - and we tried this place - couldn't have been more happy:lovestruc

I think FF is a pretty good choice too. Love the atmosphere and our server was really attentive.

We loved it. We had 2 folks in their 40's-50's and 2 in their 20's. We all thought it was the best meal of our trip. Loved the seafood, the wine and the service.

Just wanted to respond to the claim that..."This restaurant is the only one south of Philadelphia that offers the Flying Fish Brewery Company Beer."

This may have been the case many years ago before Flying Fish picked up major distribution but they are served in DC, Delaware, and Maryland.

Not really a big deal but if you're a huge beer snob/lover like me, it makes a difference.
