flying airtran in Nov/Dec

how is this airline? are they a friendly crew? Do they allow those with small children to board first? I am so used to flying SW that is what we have used but this yr airtran was offering a better $.

We've flown Airtran twice to WDW and have 2 more trips booked with them. You get to board early w/kids under 5. They were great with my son (4) on our trip. I have no complaints- they are very similar to flying SW.

I'm flying airtran for the first time in Sept. I'm hopeful for a good experience, but they just cancelled my non-stop flight and bumped us to a layover in Atlanta. I called customer service and got a diffferent on-stop flight, but now we are stuck in the back (rows 25-26) instead of the primo rows 8-9 I had on the other flight. They did have business class available - for a $300 per ticket upgrade. I asked if we could be complemetary upgraded due to the inconvenience - but got a big fat no..... On the other hand though the CS rep was very nice and helpful.......

My sister flew them last year and is again this year. We are going in Nov and her flight has been cancelled and she was put on a flight with a layover. She is now having to move to coming in another day and leaving at a different time due to it. Not sure she will fly them again

If we fly out of your City, Fly Jet Blue!

TV, Snacks and Customer Service. But if we do not fly out of your area Air Tran is good as well.

Gas Prices are Hurting all Airlines, so unfortunetly the rise in ticket prices is the little fix.

Just something to take a look at possibily if you have not booked already.

And if you do fly JB, I hope it is only a good experience.
